Directions:

  1. Cut the pepper in half (from side to side). Clean out the seeds from the inside. Now you have two pieces. One will be your pepper-shaped bowl. One will be your pepper- shaped lid.
  2. Cut the carrot into skinny sticks about 4 inches long.
  3. Cut the celery into skinny sticks so each one is about 4 inches long.
  4. Put veggie dip in the bottom of your pepper bowl.
  5. Arrange celery sticks and carrot sticks in the pepper bowl.
  6. Place the pepper lid on top of the pepper bowl.
  7. Now you’ve got a portable veggie treat! You can pull out the veggies and eat them with a little veggie dip. Then, when you’re finished with the veggies, it’s time to eat the bowl and lid!

To Serve:

  • Wrap the veggie bowl in plastic wrap and then a zip-top bag.

Fun Fact: Green bell peppers have twice as much vitamin C as citrus fruit. Red peppers have three times as much. Hot peppers contain 357% more vitamin C than one orange.
